Whereas: The right to self-defense is not only a cornerstone of American liberty — it is a God-given right that no politician has the authority to take away; and
Whereas: Assembly Bill 1333 would gut California’s Castle Doctrine and force law-abiding citizens to retreat from violent criminals — even in their own homes; and
Whereas: AB1333 would make it a crime to defend your family during a home invasion, turning innocent homeowners into felons while letting violent intruders walk free; and
Whereas: This dangerous legislation could be revived at any time — buried in a budget, amended into a public safety bill, or passed during a late-night vote when no one is watching;
Therefore: As a law-abiding gun voter in California, I demand that you vote NO on Assembly Bill 1333 — or any legislation that repeals or weakens our Castle Doctrine. I will be watching your vote very closely — and so will thousands of others.
